Chetra Ten

Director, Writer Chetra Ten, born in Khao-I-Dang camp (Cambodia-Thai border), March 29th, 1991.  Graduated bachelor's degree in Sociology, Royal University of Phnom Penh. In 2013, Chetra starts his career as an Assistant Producer at BBC Media Action, at the same time he is also acting as Cameraman in the production of the Loy 9 and Love 9 TV series which is the TV program that aims to empower young people in Cambodia.

Not far from NGO works, Chetra had moved his career to World Vision International-Cambodia in 2014 till now as a Creative Solutions Supervisor. In his new workplace, he has more opportunities to use his talent in producing, writing and directing more films mostly are documentary and educational films. In early 2017, he had directed 5 films that are focusing on a different topic which are Community, Health and Nutrition, Education, Child Protection, and Youth that aim to advocate and giving inspiration. He has won most of the Cambodia Film Award and became one of the Lectures of Cinematography.
